I Wanted That
I wanted that, that old baseball cap
I wanted that old cap for me
You gave it Jim and he gave it to Gray
I will never forgive you, no way
I wanted those, to cover my toe’s
Those socks were just perfect for me
But you gave them to Tim and he gave them to Lee
I can never forgive you, you see
I wanted some, you just left a crumb
The crumb of a nice cake for me
So I gave it two birds and they gave it a third
There is no forgiveness from me
I craved for that hay on the ground where it lay
It would have made my pig sty so warm
So you burnt all that hay just to spite me I say
And I cannot forgive you this day
I wanted that phone cos I felt so alone
I needed to call you and say
You know I am bold and my pigs will be cold
So you know what you can do with your hay
You think I want all, the bat and the ball
Greedy is what you call me
But greed it is not, I just want the lot
I want all those "them things" for FREE!
