I Want You To Hear

I want you to hear I want you to hear the clarion call, The watchman heralding the dawn; A morning prayer to love. In the deep of the night, at the low ebb, We doubt and fear the day alone; Yet love slips in to reassure. Even when love is not returned and it Weeps within its lonely bower, yet Still it brings comfort to the soul. Love soothes the aches of desire within, The hunger pains at our core. The paradox of hope and despair. You do not love me; yet I am strong, For I love you with all The joy to the spirit love brings.
