Am I invisible... you almost knocked me flying I’m on the pavement too, can’t you see me! Too busy on your bloody mobile Makes me seethe as you can see! Head bent, hell bent on concentrating Your ‘ostrich’ bonce buried, phone in hand Stop texting - look where you’re going Or I’ll say words you WILL understand Totally oblivious to your surroundings Get a life you stupid ignoramus Put down your friggin’ phone Or I’ll whack you on your lardy anus Written after being nearly floored twice today by men on their mobiles ! 6/9/19

Aargh! That thing! It is like a mania - no, it IS a mania. Y'know, I find plenty of people like that whenever I use public transport, always making me angry. Great poem that made me grit my teeth like I do when I'm angry :)

- No one has faces anymore ... all young people and adults look down on the mobile phone ... they texts even when they drive car or are on a bike ... madness ... - Where is a nice smile or hello on the street today ... we are too busy with our mobile phone - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

It's like an epidemic - being glued to a mobile device and too busy to look up - getting worse and worse especially when folk drive :-( hugs jan xx

Thanks Harry, was chatting with a friend and he had exactly the same thing happen with a teenager as the kid was walking towards him so he he just stood in the pavement and let him walk into him ... the kid looked shocked he was there and hadn't noticed him:-( hugs Jan xx

I am sorry, but it is everywhere. Those behind the wheel of a car are the ones I fear :(

You poor sweetie! You should have told them a thing or two, Jan. Irresponsible people. I'm glad you are ok. Good vent. Thanks ever so much for your lovely visit to my page. I left a comment there explaining why I've been away so long. Love ya!

They have certainly taken over Jan, it annoys me when youre talking to someone and they let their phone distract them, its so damn rude. Great verse. Tom

thanks Tom:-) we went into a cafe in Malta, on the table was a basket to put your phones in so you didn't use them at the table - wish it would catch on!:-) hugs Jan x

Both sexes have their heads down looking at their phones. I was almost hit by a driver texting. I moved aside to the other side of the road and he ran straight into a light pole. Fortunately he was not going fast. Will he learn...I doubt it! A great poem to vent with! xxoo : )

Ha! Ha! Two young girls got on the bus this morning, both walking down the aisle looking at their smartphones and both falling on their face after tripping over walkers and feet! Did they learn from the experience? Not hardly! Aloha! Rico
