I Want To Live

I want to fly I want to fly high into the sky and touch the clouds I want to feel them surround me in a silver mist I want to look down to the ground and glide With my shadow swimming across the trees I want to fly I want to swim I want to swim deep into the ocean’s world I want to see the darkness of the abyss and soar with speed I want to race the waves as they break near shore I want to taste the salty sea floors that roll I want to swim I want to run I want to run with great speed across the grasses And hear my foot beats solid on the Earth’s soil I want to run side by side with the wild Mustangs And look into their eyes with pleasant happiness and peace I want to run I want to Live I want to live wild as a part of the Earth I want to be the Vines that reach and twist into the trees I want to be the Blossoms in the mornings that feel the sun I want to be the Wolves that cry in the night I want to be the Turtles that float in still waters I want to be the Butterflies that grace the days with color I want to be the Whales that keep secrets in the deep I want to be the Elephants that tread their own ancestral grounds I want to be Alive Alive like this This Is Life I want to Live!
