I Want To Go To America!

(An Imitation of Rudyard Kipling) «I’ve never sailed the Amazon, I’ve never reached Brazil; But the Don and Magdalena, They can go there when they will!» Rudyard Kipling ----------------------------------- I’ve never sailed across the ocean to the USA; I’ve never reached America. Only big ships cross the ocean there. From the St. Petersburg harbor, they can go there when they will! They go to America, to America, to America, to my distant poets-friends. You will never find in little poor Russian towns, charming houses with real natural flower fences. But in fantastic America, there is such abundance of like fine towns! I don’t know whether I shall see America, America, America. Shall I see America and my distant poets-friends?
