I want to go where there's no pain and all I feel Is gentle rain I want to go where flowers bloom and cheerful sun does banish gloom I want to go where words are true and passion falls like morning dew I want to go where love can sing where untrue hearts will never sting I want to go where I am free and where I'm loved for being me I want to go where I can dance and all is love and sweet romance I know there is no place as this where truth is like a lover's kiss where passion reigns and is supreme where I can taste my sweetest dream where brazenly I make wild love and none can see but stars above where I can live each fantasy not cry at night despondently I want to go I'll leave tonight I'll say goodbye to living light I will repose in blessed sleep don't gather round don't dare to weep You loved me not when eyes could see and soon I'll taste eternity I will wing up to heaven bright a happy end to this dark night I want to go I want to go I want to go tonight Eileen

What powerful emotions; this is the song that all hearts sing when they are truly and irrevocably broken. A deluge of tears does not do this work justice....David

I don't believe that you are ready yet to depart and leave us teary eyed....but I am sure you'd like to find a utopia where all your dreams would come true and worries will become a thing of the past, where spirits will wander free, where love and passion will bloom and flourish. If you find that place, pls let me know...I'll follow! // paul

When you go, make memories. When you return, remember why you left to begin with. :) This hits deep.

Thanks, Ken. I love the story of Hamlet. Ophelia's tragic demise has always touched my heart. I have another poem about her. I wrote this in the depths of despair. I'm in a better place now. Thanks.

You amaze me with your incredible depth and passion of your words . . . before I clicked on your poem, I knew I would find a great poem but then you blow me away with an intensity that is amazing and I consider myself an intense person. You are loved, Little One, your strong spirit will again soar. Big Texas Hug!

Thank you, David. Once you get to know me better, you will come to sense my mood swings as revealed in my writes. I'm flying one day and dying the next. It is the story of my life. I go with each day and try to heighten the highs and weather the lows. Thanks for the hugs.

I thought I posted a comment for this, sweetie. I must have been tired and not hit the button. :( Thank you for your sweet comment. I remember that I wrote that every day that we live is written in is book before one of them came to be. Yes, I did refer to this Bible verse. He knows best, but...he always remembers our frame...that we are dust. I think he is merciful...even if...one comes to that point. Accountability cannot be an issue if judgment is impaired. Ah...but I'm still alive and well. Love to you, sweetie. Thanks for your care. Hugs
