I Wake Each Morn
Coloring hues - beauteous Blues
Midnight hours - evening powers
It dawned upon me! PARDON ME SO
I woke to those radiant skies
And I wondered - what shall I do
Amazed by the colors in my imagery
I painted those pictures in the sky
Each stroke I took - I then implied
I may be hypnotized - I ponder
I see a cloud way out yonder
Those coloring hues - I still see the blues
Yes indeed - I cultivate the weed
True colors indeed - I might say
The blues overcame me in a sort of way
The midnight hour , I looked at the stars
I wished upon thee - predominant me
"Now I lay me down to sleep" I say
I am me - I have powers in my mind
The past coming up just what will I find
The calamity marked my soul I see
I believe the blues still overcame me
I wake to another day - I challenge
A new born day - I start - I seek revenge
those radiant colors in my mind - apparently
trust I see - the blues - true calamity
And the sunrise makes my day - true grit
The images, I am in awe ! believing it
This makes my day , I wake once more
I therefore have the ability to pursue
A beautiful day with the sun I knew
The each day it doth then break ,
I see the planted seed
And breathless I can imagine the beauty , yes indeed
