I Told You Last Night

I told you last night The words I said were cold I told you I didn’t love you Won’t be with you when you’re old I won’t be there when your first is born It won’t be mine; I know you’re torn I won’t be there when you fall in love It won’t be with me...this is so tough I won’t be there when you get home I’ll be somewhere else...hope you’re not alone I won’t be there when you decide what to do I won’t make your decision now it’s all up to you I won’t be there to help you with what you need You’ll figure it out you won’t need me You won’t be there when I cry Because I won’t tell you....I will just lie You won’t be there when I need a kiss Because I am changing from Mrs. to Miss You won’t be there if my heart breaks again I’ll just have to tell a friend You won’t be there when I rise or fall Because you can’t reach me can’t even call Yet it breaks me...I feel relieved....let you go I can finally be me
