I Think About a Time of Adversity

I Think About A Time Of Much Uncertainty…. I think about a time going through much uncertainty. It was a time of much turmoil and adversity! Things at the time seemed to come “crashing down.” I wasn’t quite sure if we’d have to leave town I lost my job and wasn’t sure how to pay the bills. It seemed like life had “too many hills!” It was hard sometimes not to have any fears. At times I struggled to hold back the tears! But then I felt a tug from the Holy Ghost. Trusting Jesus was what mattered the most! I cried out to God with a troubled heart… I told God I’d love and trust him from the start. I cried; “Lord if I lose everything else, but still have you…” “You’re all that matters and are worth holding on to!” He gave me the love and strength I needed… Especially the times I felt worn out and defeated! God gave me his special unfailing grace… He put joy in my heart and a smile on my face! He helped me to understand and begin to see. I need much more of him and a lot less of me! He kept our family together during our trials. Trusting and believing him made it worth the while. I strongly recommend him to you this day. Where there’s a mountain. He’ll make a way! He is the difference when all seems to go wrong. Into his arms of mercy is where you belong! By Jim Pemberton
