I Swear My Words Are True

Centered left to right, Enter the Devil stage left. We have wandered to a place that is strange and new to us. We know little about where we are, but blunder through despite. Chaste dreams intermingle and parade with dark intentions abounding. An unexpected intrusion into my being, perhaps we’re not so different after all. With fear rising along with each new dream, looming departures and escaped fates. I wound up a step ahead of you, when you tried to get ahead just to trip on your hubris. Seeping images of angels and dust; Lost dreams and other such oddities. Whispers, lies, and conspiracies. Yes, it is all as unbelievable as it seems, but darling, I swear these words are true.
