I Soon Became
I Soon Became
Had been by myself with me and mind
Subject for next poem was trying to find;
Which will be my next venture to take?
Always have too start out when wide awake.
Select words and with each other compare
Might be difficult and not getting anywhere
Suddenly words started to drop out of the sky;
Why, of course, on gracious God I should rely.
With temptation trembled and back it fought
And from that moment started praying a lot
Not only did I end up with fortune and fame
A pleasant poet laureate I soon became.
