I Slept On a Star

I went to sleep last night, I slept on a star, With a feeling of wonder, I traveled so far, I visited places, And wandered in time, With forces of bliss, I continued to climb, I witnessed a world, A world with no sun, The weather was cold, But happy and fun, I raced a comet, Felt the ice from its core, I flew passed an asteroid, As I continued to soar, I flew over mars, It was red full of light, The rocks colored rust, What a spectacular sight, Saturn was fun, It looked like a toy, With rings in the mist, Just simply a joy, I glided towards Jupiter, My heart lifted so, With moons all around, It shadowed with glow, I headed back down, I floated in air, I bounced on a cloud, In hope and a prayer.
