I Should

I should mention more often, how beautiful you are, Though it is never forgotten, Like the shining of a star. I should not hide my heart, when I'm hurt and confused, But share it like art, Despite feeling bruised. I should be holding your hand, if you may shed a tear, and when I don't understand, I should still be right here. I should cherish the moments, spent in amour or glee, When this whirlwind's bestowment, Flings me unto thee. I mention my love, For your heart's in my hands, As I cherish each second, More than I understand. I should mention more often, How much I am in love, As it keeps my chest rising, and the pull bests the shove. There are fish in the ocean, yet I want no rod, As I have drank of your potion, and I am just awed.
