I Shiver
now i wonder if you can see right through the rain
to the wonders of the horizon
and the depths inside you brain
so close now
to the end of this new day
as the earth revolves around the moon
bringing daylight once again
and as i sit here
writing this poem
the duke box right behind me
sings a sorrowed whim
no choice now but to go into dispair
with a broken heart inside me
and a body much the same
a vision every time i speak your name
your face an emination
of your beautiful young frame
as i try to get you out of my mind
my blood draws forth and i shiver
pools of claret form i feel dead inside
a last breath i soon will deliver
for you
i wake now im stairing at the door
as a blue smoke draws beneath the frame
and forms just like before
is this whichcraft
or am i just insane
beacuse every time i fall inside my mind i feel your pain
a vision every time i speak your name
your face an emination
of your beautiful young frame
as i try to get you out of my mind
my blood draws forth and i shiver
pools of claret form i feel dead inside
a last breath i soon will deliver
for you
for you
for you
