I Shall Put a Maple Leaf On Your Soft Palm

I’ll put a maple leaf on your soft palm. And when the train arrives, I’ll kiss you gently. My careless angel, you are leaving now. “Bear up,” I’ll say as usual, “Don’t forget me”. I cannot give you all the things you need. I am a person you can just rely on. Sometimes I may be too reserved and strict. But does it mean I’m made of steel or iron? The purple leaf is gleaming in your hand. There’re no words of love before we part. But I am sure that you’ll understand It’s not the leaf I’ve given you but my heart. Dedicated to my sister
