I See Beauty

I see Beauty all around me It is in the wonder of fields of golden grain, Gently swaying to the rhythm of an embracing breeze, It is in the happy bird song on a clear spring morning, In sparkling diamonds clinging to soft dewy grass. Beauty is in a meadow of wildflowers in full bloom, And you will discover it in the slow flowing, dancing creek. It is in the glory of fiery fall foliage, And it lives in the shimmering, descending snow. There is beauty in the soft stillness of a calm night, And in the silvery shimmer of magic moonlight. It radiates in a brilliant sunrise And it rides the swell of the majestic tide. But without you, I would be lost, All this beauty would be meaningless. You make my sun rise, and my nights glow, Your touch warms my heart and wakes my soul, You give my life beauty. Bridget Aubrey
