I See.
Touched was I as I watched her cry,
drowning in a world she chose taking on some thing no one knows,
pure as her soul this woman sighs as her world turns cold,
a smile to hide the tears never looking ahead to next year,
fear she'll lose what means so much, a love-a life-a journey as such,
to you she dose what a daughter should, she dose what no one could,
to give so much of her self so much of life, this woman thinks nothing to sacrifice,
touch was I, so much so I wanted to cry.
This poem was written for my wife, for years now
she has been watching after her mother who is ill,
not for phrase or for reward just out of love, and
at times she cry and fills no one knows how it is,
then she dries her tears and moves on, she truly
is a world wonder and I just want her to know how
great she is and all she dose is appreciated.
I love Nancy and I'm not the only one.
