I Rose

Like helium…my red rose soul a mylar balloon festooned with garlands of beveled blue ...snapdragon green a yellow sun …bursting forth upon my shimmering surface golden tentacles stretching around the distended orb of my beating heart Lilting …lifting….soaring ..............upwards so high…so high …so very very high I could not care... if I might die and fall…Icarus de-feathered back to the tar …the sick dark hot black tar ...of truth
