I Remember the Day
I remember the day,
And it wasn't that long ago.
Where we thought of inspiration,
From those we might call, our hero.
Their stories were often told to us,
Like mothers feeding newborns.
A nurturing body, grows losing his
mind, and soul,
Allowing dreams to fight.
As the pages of time have turned,
New characters are now in view.
Where people appear in masks,
And lose all there confidence,
Distancing becomes far and few.
Now a dust of faded memory,
Something that you'll always remember.
A rainbow crosses but too pale,
Always keep safe from harm.
