I Remember :Dementia

I Remember Walks do no good any more And soon we will be moving Closer to the kids Closer to the help. I can’t do it all by myself. I can’t. Gravity is constant but I fear dementia -is not. How much longer will it take before she has completely forgot -me. Was it worth a lifetime with? Yes. And I remember.

Your words sound authentic and confused, painting a many colored canvas of sights and sounds that the reader can relate to as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. I am captured by these images and the passion of the words move me. This is a well written, descriptive, and creative all rolled up into a beautiful poem. Emile. #7
