I Regret the Unspoken
There are things in life that
I have only seen in pictures
But I do not count myself deprived
There are places in this world I have not been
but I do not long for them
There are gourmet foods I've never tried
Designer clothes I have not worn
Exotic cars I'll never drive
These things do not weigh heavy on my heart
There are many things I will not do
Many places I will not see
I will not regret never having done them
I will not regret never having seen them
Because I know within my heart
These things were not meant to be
However!
There is one thing that weighs on my heart
The words I've left unspoken those I do regret
There are people who have gone on
Never knowing what they meant to me
I've learned a valuable lesson from
This weight that I have borne
I've learned to never leave unspoken
What someone means to you
