I Read Your Words

Before I close my eyes in sleep Before sweet dreams my soul do reap I read your words, I read your words And I find treasures hidden deep Before I bid farewell to thought Before my reason comes to naught I read your words, I read your words And I relish their wonders wrought Before I drift on clouds of white And I traipse through the starry night I read your words, I read your words And the universe fills with light What of MY words, these very words? Do they lull you to dreamland too? Eileen Manassian Ghali

Hi, Richard. Thank you for your visit. I appreciate it. I do check up on you. I did read your last two poems....The limerick was a naughty one! ;) Keep writing. I don't know when or if I'll be back...I must say...I don't have the desire to write just yet. The events that have transpired have not left a taste in my mouth for soup. All the best. Hugs

The answer is yes and I am sure I am not the only one who can answer this question this way. Excellent words as always.

The affirmative answer is music to my ears! Thank you, Richard for visiting my work. It's no secret that your poems are filling my favorite folder quite nicely.

I do study the poems I read on the soup. I never flash across any and some do indeed stay in the mind right up to the point sleep takes those thoughts to a different place. So in short the answer is yes. Take care, Richard

For me, the equilibrium floats. Is that sufficient? :) Another beautiful piece, simply asking how much does one value you. Excellent.

;) Hi Drake....equilibrium is a good thing, isn't it? Otherwise....everything is out of sync and that can't be good for anyone!
