I Pray

Vehemently, I pray God make me a way So my leg will walk to that place Where I can save my poor face From a heart-wrenching ridicule And from their mouth, unending spittle Wash my head, if it'd been cussed Forgive my transgression, if that be the cause I desire fortune to live my life Oh Lord I plead, end my strive Bless my unfortunate soul, And make penury my foe I pray!
