I Need the Fear
tell me your lies
and your careless tales
oh, but
they were all true
and it takes me back
to those times
cruising on the backroads
waiting for the light of night
and in the ballroom
when life has sung its song
listen real close
peek in the corner
i'll be
the fat lady
howling my lies
my careless tales
they were all true
and it takes me back
to, to those times
those rhymes
but why
why does it have to end this way?
i don't mind it too much
it's cold, and comfortable here
i still sweat a little
but i need this fear
and the sneers, and jeers
I've pissed these years away
now my shoes are all wet.
