I Miss You Grandma

I bloomed into the person I am from a little seed that you planted. You were the water; you quenched my thirst and took care of all my needs. The voices I heard coming from my head always chanted and chanted, ¨she´s still here, this can´t be.¨ Now all I have to remember you are these prayer beads you left behind. You are departed, but I know that your love for me is just started. You taught me how to love the Lord above. Every year to remember the date you passed, I visit your grave like a mourning dove. These things happen all the time, the cancer that took your life was an organized crime. August 1st will always run through my mind, but when that date comes, I feel so confined. I miss you. And all because of you, I have grew.
