I Miss You

I miss you like a child misses their toy when it gets thrown away. I miss you like a Momma bird misses it's babies after they have flown away. I miss you like a Dad misses their child on Valentine's Day, when he cannot see them because he's so far away. I miss you so much it kills to see me standing next to you in a picture, when I used to be happy. I miss you, always, everyday and every minute, why do you have to be taken away from me so quickly? You were my Grandmother and I can't believe you were the best thing that had ever happened to me. But now you are gone, gone from the streets into a new world of happy and peace. I hope you are doing well, as I sleep and eat and think of you in my dreams. You were great to me and my own Mother, we all miss you and can't seem to get over your beautiful face and figure. You were a great and amazing grandmother to me and a better mom than you would ever think! But now you are gone into heaven, but that's okay! We will all see you again, and everything will be alright, all over again! Hopefully. -Alex
