I Miss Them All

Listen to poem:
I dream in sepia coloured tones of summer holidays long ago. of ocean waves and skimming stones and building snowmen in the snow. My mum and dad and the love they gave before they were taken from my gaze. And me standing solemnly by their grave Oh I wish them here, so we can go on holidays. My siblings two, are no longer here. How unfair to leave me bringing up the rear. Their voices once again I crave to hear . life's not fair to leave the youngest here , let's be clear . I wish my time would hurry up. So I can spend it with those I loved. This mortal life, I would gladly give up To spend just one more day with those I so dearly loved .
