I Miss
It’s been so many years
And too many distant tears
I miss the way I fell asleep on you
I miss all the things you told me you knew
I miss kissing your sweet lips
I miss the butterflies in my stomach doing flips
I miss gazing into your exotic eyes
I miss feeling the warmth of your body against my thighs
I miss us laughing together everyday
I miss the little flirty things you do when you play
I miss your blushing cheeks and your sexy smile
I miss telling you my secrets all the while
I miss your arms around my waist
I miss you, your love, your taste
But now I want to start over again
I’m ready to give you my all --- to be more than a friend
I want to be your’s, the time is right
I can’t wait until you hold me all through the night
But your decision is all that’s left to bear
I want to be there for you, to love and to care
So, impatiently I wait for your precious decision
Because being with you made a permanent incision
