I Love You Mother

I've loved you mother since I've laid eyes on you Through my eyes your the prefect view, You've been there for me through thick and thin Even when my life first began. From infant to toddler to teenage and adulthood With those changes, you still understood, I know I've hadn't always done right I was even disobedient and stayed out all night. To you loving me is worthwhile Although, I had changed my lifestyle, For me, you'll be the only woman I'll ever love That's why you were sent from Heaven above. I didn't understand then like I do now Somethings back then you didn't allow, Now I'm on the verge of turning forty-two I realize all those things you taught were true. I appreciate the things you have bestowed The values you taught led me down the right road, Thank you for the values you placed in my heart and mind A mother like you is so very hard to find. My love for you mom is deep in my heart Without you, I wouldn't know where to start, Loving you has been worth while And I thank God for letting me be your child.
