I Love You

I was drunk, In six inch heels and a dress, With pockets for my keys, And cigarettes. My eyes were fixed, Watching you across the room, There was one thing on my mind, But I was not brave enough to say it. It only took a small step of courage, A few more sips from the bottle, Before I set it on the table, And took a step towards you. The music was loud And the lights blinded me I lost you for a moment In the chaos Suddenly, you were right next to me I lost my courage as fast as I had gained it I never told you what I wanted to I just asked, Do you have a lighter?

A very beautiful write, well it s my personal opinion to everyone that if you love someone, eon t be afraid, just tell them, if you didn t tell them and thwy went away, you ll have to regret your whole life reminding that I was only a step away but loose confidence, what s the max can happen, you ll get reject, ut then atleast you ll know the welfare of your love and believe me your partner will be in greater loss and he ll lpose someone who love him, but you ll lopse someone, who don t love you

Six inch heels! Sorry you lost your courage...My wife started out as a platonic relationship, we were just friends for years. I know that is a long time to be friends, but my point is sometimes friendships blossom into more. She is my best friend in life and my wife...it does not get better than that :) Maybe your courage will allow you to be his friend first and then check him out...haha. Thank You for Sharing :)
