I Lied

I lied said it was okay for you to go but in my heart surely you did know I did it for your peace and rest escape from the last great test. Too long the pain endured as your soul was cleansed and pured by the suffering and pain what was left to gain? I lied said I had said everything that was needed but in the end you had succeeded taking my heart as you finished playing your part. I lied said my final goodbyes and I promised to remember holding back my tears and cries. Alone now I know the truth I lied.
