I Left the Door Open

I left the door open Of my heart that beat open As we sat under a tree that was broken Its leaves were hopeless But its roots were golden Its heart had been stolen Under this tree is where we threw our token And dreamed of oceans Our hearts melted again and again As our lips met in pure rain Words couldn't even be spoken The softness, the tremors, we were just frozen And there we sat in wonder, swollen With the innocent flower's pollen Our eyes reflecting each other's moment
