I Learned My Lessons
It was a sad scene
Yet I will sin a sincere song;
I was caught in small sin
Because I was tempted by throng…
I got late to class on this dreadful day,
So I was not allowed to write a tactical test,
I followed what I thought was a wise way,
Little did I know I was entering a nasty net.
I was caught and someone said… expel,
Fear gripped my heart and I started crying,
My life was at stake... my body was hot as hell;
I thought it was my last day… I was dying.
I have always been a good boy, I don’t frown;
I have never been caught in this kind of mess,
The fear of expulsion knocked me down,
I was traumatized, cheerless and helpless.
God vindicated me; past record spoke for me,
Then I learned to be sincere in whatever I do;
I made what will be will be my philosophy,
I got strong and learned not to always go blue.
