I Know Where I Have Been

I know where I have been over the years Had some good times and some not so good Met a lot of people, some were pretty bad Been to the unknown, there I had a lot of fears They did things that I never understood Did something that I thought were a down right sin Seen some things on the back side if Hell I will never forget They say do not go where angels do not fly I would not change a thing if had to do all over again If God leads you to it, he will get you through it Cause he will never bat an eye I had to learn all their wicked ways With my own eyes, had to see their actions Had to ride down to the bottom of their cesspool Many dark night and long days It was worth it just to see their reactions When they found out old Satan does not rule I know where I have been and why A lot of dead ends streets and an a crooked mile or two But the best and only medicine is to pray I know where I am at now and why I know for sure what God can do I know where I am going, as long as God leads the way

very intense poem, full of faith- do you mind if someone points out typos, I saw a couple in there. I have been having trouble with spelling lately and typos. sorry if it bothers you.

"If God leads you to it, he will get you through it" is a great line, Danny. And I couldn't agree more that prayer is the best medicine. Unfortunately, we all have to walk "a crooked mile or two" in life, but I admire the way your faith carries you through the day. Excellent poem! Love, carolyn
