I Just Express

The rain came down as I sat by the window.. I pondered what lifes and ups and downs have shown.. While at the piano the keys didn't feel or sound right.. The mixture of colors on my paint brush had no light.. I then searched for a way to express without sound.. Then the door opened to Poetry and the words I've found.. I feel this time I have found my way through a tangled dark forest.. Now by the same window I write of rain and love as I just express..

Wwords have always fascinaated me too and I started writing last December. Wish I had done it years before. So glad you found it too because you do the art justice with great poems

Poetry like music is a grand expression of emotion in one's persona Michael luv.. u do both very well always.. I too grew up with music as first luv ..then graduated to writing the lyrics with poetry.. now here we are..sharing at PS.. what a plan God puts in front of us to use wisely.. u are a gift as are your words luv.. your J.G. ..feasting on them now..xoxo..

Yes! I'm so influenced with nature in writing my poetry! I enjoyed your write very much! The 3rd stanza is the best as you just found the power of poetry...I love the day I found poetry! Big day that was! You'll do well in the contest!!
