I Hide

I keep my heart in my pocket wherever I may go, incase I need to hide it, so noone can get close. I'm so afraid to let you love me, afraid of what you'll do. You will promise me the world then turn your back and I will lose you. I'd like to take my heart out. I'm just dying to let you see, but you have to accept what I need, but If you are patient and hold out your hand, I'll take it out real slow please try to understand. Now I have it out. It hurts and I'm scared. I feel like I see noone, is anybody there, but to my surprise I see you in my veiw. It feels so good, but so much hurt still too. If you love me with all that you see, then thats how I know you will never leave. Now I know you love me so true, but I have to put my heart back till I can love me too.
