I Have Not Forgotten

11:36 5 Sept 2018 No I have not forgotten I remember well that 911 day of hell When demon filled men set their heart those buildings to fell Driving to get my daughter and wife I heard of the first plane and I knew it was an attack on Americas life My eyes welled up my heart beat fast I have to get my family over and over in my mind as every car I passed I held them close as I told them news God help and protect us all as in the second and third flew They were not martyrs as i slam says They were brain washed manics with death as their pledge The heros were those who ran towards death Not to help death but to defy it to its breath Into hell they went to set free those they could To save and serve as heros should At the end of it all some had lost their life In order to give to those who could not fight Now here we are seventeen years later And people have forgotten and turned into agitators Trampling on the memories of those who gave and still give Their lives to others to live But not I! I have not forgotten I am still sane I stand in testimony that those heros died not in vain
