I Have But One Dream
Saying goodbye to faithless
lovers leave you feeling blue.
But I can't help but smile
as you bid them adieu.
You've limitless hopes,
there's nothing you can't do.
Yet, I've only one hope,
whose fabric's worn through.
You share your fantasies,
hoping they'll come true.
But, mine remain secret,
known only to a few.
Dazzled by plastic smiles,
innocence clouds your view.
But, my smile's genuine,
unlike those you pursue.
You dream of finding love,
always with someone new.
But I've got just one dream,
I only dream of you.
