I have built the wall With my hands I laid the bricks Mortar mixed with blood and tears I built the wall high You could have hidden the bricks This wall will never crumble Eileen Manassian Ghali

Eighth page eighth poem and the eight word is "hands". Now I'm going to see if there is a poem titled "Hands".

walls can be so strange Eileen, but this one, that never crumbles, tells me it is strong yet ever so human, one which does allow the emotions to penetrate the readers mind....one which is a awesome read....

Let the resilience SHINE! Mold it with your heartbeats. Glue it with your voice. Coat it with your breath. Magnificent message!

Hmmmmmm...walls are for protection, my dear. Sometimes they are very essential in keeping those who will harm away...No, at this point in time, I need to keep building that wall...Thanks or the visit. XOXOXOXO

I like the poem, If I could mix cement - I would build a water fountain and add some bricks too. Thanks for sharing. Lucilla

I've heard about these walls before, it's funny how women become master builders when they get a little upset yet can't put up a shelf lol. Take care, Richard
