Those moments of clarity we all have.

The lightning had vanished, the thunder had roared away And the heavens had ceased to cry. Leaving me standing alone, in the crisp morning air, Looking up towards the sky. And there, on the hill, stood my proud, beautiful friend, Both legs standing firmly on the ground. She whispered to me, in that moment of bliss, We connected without making a sound. Her red, green and blue refracted ideas so mysterious, It was spiritual, foreboding and ethereal. She told me to take it all easy, be happy and bright, Not to put too much import on material. This tongue of the sun spoke a truth so subtle, So profound, philosophical and pure. That life is about happily giving while living peacefully with others, That love is a genuine cure. Contest judged 21st May.
