I Got Dreams
I got dreams,
but maybe my dreams
just ain't as big as yours
I dream of having a simple life;
no stress, no worries ...
just a small house and a loving wife
I don't dream
of being a big celebrity
and having a large entourage
I don't dream
of having a mansion, owning lots of cars
Nah, I'm just a lowly soul,
my feet stay close to the ground
I would like having a loyal pet as a companion,
and only keep good company around
I dream of small things,
like hoping my neighbors prosper,
and their children too
To take care of the things I've been blessed with,
like God asked me to do
Yes, I got dreams,
and I'm sure they're not as grand
as the dreams you hope will sprout
But I'd rather have the peaceful life,
than the chaotic one your dreams
will no doubt bring about
