I Finally Spoke

I broke all the pencils I own in half I vomited on the pen ink I tried to digest I cannot be anymore vulnerable with you than I am right here and now I am about to do something with strangers that I never done before I have words to speak I am desperate I used my last ten dollars to catch a cab to the local bar you told me they have open mic nights every Friday night I hold a Jack and Coke in my hand as tears fall down my face I was asked by the crowd for a line that would "make things easier" I finally spoke
