I Finally Spoke
I broke all the pencils I own in half
I vomited on the pen ink I tried to digest
I cannot be anymore vulnerable with you than I am right here and now
I am about to do something with strangers that I never done before
I have words to speak
I am desperate
I used my last ten dollars to catch a cab to the local bar
you told me they have open mic nights every Friday night
I hold a Jack and Coke in my hand as tears fall down my face
I was asked by the crowd for a line that would "make things easier"
I finally spoke
