While drifting off to sleep this night,
I felt your gentle hand caress my soul;
And looking out my open window,
Your sweet soft light shone on me.
As hazy clouds drifted by,
In a black velvet sky;
A perfect golden moon,
Silent and comforted I lay my head down.
Your loveliness touches my very soul,
So I press your beauty to my heart;
And I close my weary eyes.
