~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I dreamt a poem in the night. The syllables all fit. I dreamt a poem, slim and slight. It was the soul of wit. I dreamt a poem in the night, but this one isn’t it.
thanks, Vijay. Yes I do somedays eat and breathe poetry...ideas come to me during the night. I've learned to write them down, for I don't remember them in the morning light :-)
We all have had similar experiences i think, i had a prompt sometime ago too called “ i dreamt of a poem forgot the words” you somehow nailed it with these lines, i love cuteness of this, and what it depicts in the most deep manner , sometimes dreams are perfect and better too than reality! Pleasure always reading your sincere poetic expressions. Sending you light always
It's amazing what we dream about, I remember I was trying to remember the name of someone I worked with and strangely enough his name was mentioned in a dream I had. It was still fresh in my mind when I woke up. Tom
