I Disagree With Your Dad

My mother told me once, my mother told me twice, You think that I would listen after she told me the second time, Nothing against my father, but she described him to a T, She warned me about the decisions I made and how he would act towards me, She said you and I are very much alike, this will drive him crazy, We fought about the things you and I believe, so expect an argument in the making, Put your big girl panties on, and get ready for a rumble, Because when you disagree with him, your words he'll try to fumble, Pride will cause him to shut down your words, and not hear a logical explanation, But please love him anyway, just take a mini vacation, By the time you've thought things over, and come back for a visit, He won't even remember the point of it all, he'll forget the disagreement, This is how we operated for many years on end, I would make him a sandwich and soon he would forget, So I'm preparing for your future, please take your mother's advice, Make sure you prepare him his favorite meal right after you get in a fight! LOL.:)
