I Didn’t Mean To I didn’t mean to hurt you It’s just one of those things I do Sometimes things just slip out of my mouth It’s usually when my temper goes south It’s not that I don’t know it’s wrong But when I realize it, it’s been to long Everyday I’m trying to be a better person And I have many a good reason My parents have given me many chances I’m surely not done with more romances I should have died many times But I didn’t so I’ll write more rhymes I hope you know I still love you so My heart broke when you chose to go I’ll never forget the times we had If you ever want to talk again I’ll be glad Anyway, I’m happy to have the people I do Hopefully soon that list will include you
