I Chose To Have a Disease
I had to choose a disease to have,
To inject into my vein.
Something that'd turn my life upside down,
And make me go insane.
It had to be incurable,
That I'd have until I die.
That'd take all of me, devour me,
Be my emotional butterfly.
It'd make me blind, it'd make me dumb,
It'd leave me weak and deaf.
It'd take all of my bits of energy,
And it'd leave me out of breath.
Some call me crazy, but I have to differ,
Because I think that I am smart.
I chose the disease called love of course,
That eats my tender heart.
