I Can Do It
I need to let go of my pain and my sorrow
Because a new day starts tomorrow
Anticipation of success clouds my eyes
This time is different, not like my other tries
Before I didnt want to change, no I didnt care
But I'm sick of looking like a tweeker from the wear and tare
I will smile and tears will no longer fall
I have got to be tough if I hit a wall
Rejection may happen but I won't give up
Once a half empty glass, now a full cup
If I play my cards right I know I'll be fine
I've got to shape up and get in line
Just because I'm an addict doesn't mean jack
I can say no if you try to sell me a sack
My intelligence radiates, I want to do well
Things are changing can't you tell?
Don't tell me anything other than I'm awesome
It's time for the real me to blossom
