I Bundled You Up

My thoughts turn to you though I'm miles from home They seep through my skin and speak to my bones I tried to forget, but I never understood How you're so adept at infecting my blood Somehow the depression has followed me here Smothers my throat and blows in my ear The spell that you crafted and conjoured for me Invented to remind I'll never be worthy It seems when I packed up to run off from you I bundled you up and packed you in too Feels like I'm serving a criminal sentence There's just no escape from your shadowing semblance
