I Believe

As I walk the city streets, bells toll from a nearby church. I then hear our Lord whisper to me: Can you see me? Can you see me? As I look around, I answer yes Lord; I see you In the changing leaves, I see you in the bright stars above. Yes Lord, I see you. Continuing my walk I look around at what I really see. I then hear our Lord whisper to me: Do you hear me? Do you hear me? I stop and listen. Yes Lord, I hear you In the gentle breezes, I hear you in the laughter of children. Yes Lord, I hear you. At the end of my walk, I pause look around and listen. Then I hear our Lord whisper: Do you believe in me? Do you believe in me? I believe you have made me and all living things. I whisper my answer, yes Lord I believe in you, Lord I believe.
